OnlyFans or Fansly? How to Decide – and When to Use Both

For most creators, OnlyFans works best as the main page and Fansly as a second platform – an addition, not a replacement. Both keep 20% and pay creators 80% of their earnings (as of October 2026), so the real difference isn't the fee. It's discovery, workload and which audience each page reaches. Add Fansly when you have the content and the energy to look after a second page properly.

Key takeaways

  • The platform fee isn't the deciding factor: both platforms pay creators 80% (as of October 2026).
  • Fansly has its own For You Page for content creators choose to include; OnlyFans relies mostly on traffic you bring yourself.
  • A second page means a second offer, a second inbox and more preparation.
  • Test Fansly with a small, clearly defined content set before mirroring everything.
  • Keep earnings, fees and hours separate per platform, or you won't know what the second page adds.

The fee is the same – the work isn't

Equal percentages don't mean equal earnings. An agency share, if you have one, is a separate deduction on both platforms. What really differs is the effort behind each page: separate pricing, separate welcome messages, separate fan lists and a second inbox to answer. If your week is already full, a second page can quietly take time away from the first.

Some fans may subscribe to both. If both pages show exactly the same content at the same moment, they'll feel they're paying twice. Give each page something of its own – a different series, a different timing, a different focus.

When Fansly is worth adding

  • Your OnlyFans runs smoothly and you have a buffer of approved content.
  • You'd like to test discovery that isn't driven only by social media.
  • Part of your audience prefers Fansly or has asked about it.
  • You can spare a few extra hours a week without losing rest.

If none of these is true yet, staying focused on one page is a perfectly good decision.

Privacy on two platforms

A second page is a second place where your persona appears. Use the same creator name and watermark, so leaks can be traced and fans recognise you, and check each platform's privacy and region settings separately – settings don't carry over. Never link the second page to anything personal. Our OnlyFans privacy guide applies to both pages.

Testing Fansly without doubling your workload

  1. Choose a small, approved content set and decide what each offer includes.
  2. Set up the Fansly page with the same persona and the same boundaries.
  3. Keep earnings, fees and hours separate for each platform.
  4. After six to eight weeks, compare what remains after fees with the time it took.

When your combined revenue goes up, look at whether promotion or production costs went up in the same weeks. An increase alone doesn't prove the second page caused it. Our income calculator helps you run the numbers.

How we approach it

OnlyFans comes first for us and Fansly second; Fanvue, ManyVids, LoyalFans and Fancentro we manage on request. Before adding a page, we look with you at your production capacity and your audience, then plan both pages together and review them in your weekly call. We never promise a fixed increase from being on more platforms. Read more about our Fansly management.

Frequently asked questions

Is Fansly better than OnlyFans?

Neither is better in general. Both pay creators 80%; Fansly offers more built-in discovery through its For You Page, while OnlyFans is where we focus first. What suits you depends on your audience and your capacity.

Can I be on OnlyFans and Fansly at the same time?

Many creators run both. Check each platform's current terms, keep your persona consistent and give each page something of its own so fans don't feel they're paying twice.

Does Fansly pay more than OnlyFans?

The share is the same: creators receive 80% on both platforms (as of October 2026). What you actually earn depends on your audience, your offers and the care you put into each page.

Will my OnlyFans fans follow me to Fansly?

Some might, but it's better not to count on it. Treat Fansly as a chance to reach new people, and measure it separately.
